We quickly bought some American sweets and cherry coke, ran to the smokers' lounge (it weirdly smelt just like an old English pub back in the smoking days...) and made it to boarding just in time (we had a short connection)... ... two of the more successful and sophisticated vineyards in northern Virginia, Sunset Hills winery and Breaux. We lunched at Sunset Hills on bread and cheese and wine. Sunset produces a Cabernet Franc with 16% alcohol (most wine is around 13%) that is a very, very big wine, and a very tasty Meritage that is considerably less bulky.
