... for baked goods, and home decor.  We then walked around the gardens, first stopping by the Birds of Prey show that takes play daily. The lady did a great job explaining the different birds and their habits and habitats. We got there 15 minutes in (the whole show is 30 minutes) and got to see two owls and a vulcher.  I guess they must've shown fancier birds like eagles, hawks, and falcons earlier!  The presenter was very animated ...

We finished the day at Breaux, which had attracted a very large crowd. Great view of the vineyards from the terrace. We had Cash with us ...

... there, I had watched as a white dove swooped down and across that particular mausoleum. It was poetic in a sense to see life imitating art as inside that mausoleum was a white dove done in stained glass. And as I stared at the photo I’d taken remembering the beautiful white dove I’d seen, it made me glad that I had gone that day to celebrate the Victorian festival at Oakland Cemetery. I was happy that I was able to visit ...
