Picked up the car at our friends, the Meadors. Hitting the road for Atlanta. Wow, it's been a whirlwind expedition! Feels like we've been gone for months. ... could not have cared less. Yeah, it was gross, but I was in Paris, so who cares? This is the kind of mindset I hope to keep.
I was wicked excited because on my flight from Phoenix to Atlanta I had no one sitting in my row when the doors closed...and then someone just came and sat in the seat next to me out of nowhere. Such is life. I've got one flight down, two to go, and then my adventure REALLY begins.

... adventures and grew closer as a family and stretched ourselves in every way possible as individuals. Mecca has matured so much I often times forget she's 6. And Thomas and I have blossomed as well.
So long for now to the incredible people I met in Hawaii. We will meet again! And remember, Atlanta is a pretty cool place to visit. Even though we were living like gypsies in Hawaii, we actually do own a home here ...
After an hour delay and a rather bumpy flight I made it to Atlanta where I was greeted by another hour long queue to clear customs and security cutting down my waiting time to only 2 hours!
During this time I had to buy a Starbucks coffee and the 'Internationally recognised bst beer of America' - Samuel Jones I think it was called?!
Another 4 hour flight followed, then a half hr taxi ride for a rather reasonable $28.
