Saying goodbye + the never ending layover in Miami

After an emotional farewell, I left the atlanta runway, lovingly cradling a big black book I had been given as a going away gift. I had left America after living there for one year and the book was full of messages from friends (and adopted family) wishing me well. As expected I sniffled my way through each message (listening to Keane's somewhere only we know only worsened melancholy). Atlanta was such a great time. I went for PSO after joining the AmeriCorps VISTA. I was to go through an extensive 4 day training and head to my site the day after. I arrived at the hotel early on Monday. It was beautiful! Over 100 years old, the architecture was magnificent and the inside was super fancy! ... bottles of all my bathroom essentials

Hungry for breakfast, I can't wait to stuff my stomach with something tweet and savory. Preferably eggs, toast, and tea.

Once we are in the airport, the reality of it all will settle in. After flying half way around the world, my belly full of peanuts, and my fuzzy socks keeping my feet warm, I'm sure I will be overjoyed, when the plane lands in the great city of Dubai.

      till next time...

... to complete my shopping at REI. Once I got everything packed in the motorcycle, it was time to return to the BMW shop in Marietta to pick up my bike.

I finally made it home shortly after 6 pm. I was tired and wore out from the long day in Atlanta. Despite wanting to just crash, I pushed through that desire and connected with Jan and Anna, Ava and Hunter. We spent some time together on the back porch going over the day. I got ...
