Aussi bleu que la mer noire
Trois mois de voyage et nous voici à Varna, sur la côte bulgare. 9000 kilomètres parcourus et nous apercevons enfin la mer noire.
Nous traversons la ville, avec ses nombreux casinos et centres commerciaux. Très touristique et bétonnée, nous décidons de continuer encore quelques kilomètres pour dépasser les barres d'hôtels construits au bord de la mer, qui gâchent malheureusement le paysage.

It has been a really emotional day for all on the Summer Camp team. We have all had such an amazing time and feel so privileged to be a part of it. I know that we have all taken something personal from this time with the kids and have truly been overwhelmed by the love they have for us.

We are also really excited to be joined by Hannah from York St John University. She will be with us for the rest of the week. We are sure she will bring loads of enthusiasm and inject some much needed energy into the team.

It's batten down the hatches tonight!
First came news that it's going to rain for the next three days! Then as the day progressed the skies steadily became darker and the gales began. We had a slightly embarrassing moment or two when the gale force winds blew our washing, including bikinis and underwear, off our balcony to the ground/trees four floors down! Never fear, they were quickly rescued but possibly without our dignity intact!

Hot, hot, hot
... the waves. As the week goes on they have become more brave in their wave endevours. The problem being that the SC team also have to brave the depths as the huge waves crash into these little kids clinging onto us, dragging us all under! As we resurface there is just enough time to catch a breath before we are hauled under again. It is great fun though and everyone, including the SC team, don't want to get out.
