Last year I've been to Maldives on my birthday. I must say it was the best birthday cellebration I've had! ... the whole island was surrounded with a coral reef that we spent hours everyday snorkelling around. We saw SO many fish and even a few reef sharks and sting rays.. oh, and a couple of turtles taking it easy. They are so amazing to watch under water. Pure paradise... but just don't even mention the price of things! This was truly a once in a lifetime for us and we recommend it to anyone and everyone who wants to forget about life for a while!

... it was paradise. The food was a fantastic array of every cuisine and you could always find (several) things to eat and the all inclusive meant just that. If you can go - go. We are told that the sister island Arathuga is identical but slightly better snorkeling and dive sites further away..but I can't confirm it. ... Hannah learned to scuba dive and Jack snorkeled everyday. He is thinking of becoming an underwater photographer after taking 30 pictures of the same fish underwater with his camera! We met a wonderful family from the UK and had some great adult time as well!!
