... pull out window T.T. I didn't realize this until towards the end of the train ride; better late than never!

The hotel is pretty close to the train station, but the neighborhood is extremely sketchy. There is a corner where kids wait and approach asking for money. They look about 5-7 years old.

We stopped by McDonalds to get a meal because it comes with a free World Cup Coca-Cola souvenir glass =).

So great to spend a bit of time away from a city with no electricity and with great people. Tonight we had a curry night, Rovi and Cata organised for a couple of their friends to come around to enjoy a home cooked meal and a few drinks ...

A travel blog entry by anne_cici on Sep 13, 2013

Looking back on my trip, I can definitely say taking it was one of the best decisions I have made thus far. I learned a lot about myself and about the world around us, not just in terms of places, but more importantly people. I could've made some better choices. For example, I am now certain that if I ever get the chance to do a "big" trip again, I will not travel with a group, especially not a group of people that come form only one country. It's not even ...
