    Yesterday we started our day by driving to Dunfermline because dad's grandma was born there. We had some chocolate cake there.     We left Newcastle today to beautiful bright sky's and sun shine. It just so happened that The Great Northern Run was on today and 10s of thousands of runners had invaded Newcastle. It's a big affair with runners coming from all over the Uk to compete and raise money for charity. It was going to be a huge trip into Scotland so we settled in for the long haul.
