... more of the largest island in the Cyclades archipelago. We drove through the interior of the island while stopping at various archeological sites, farms and small towns. The air was much colder in the high elevations and we were glad that the traffic was minimal on the curvy narrow roads that barely allowed one car to pass through. In addition, there were other obstacles on the road to slow us down like goats and donkeys. The ...

... to Parikia, visited the cathedral and the archaeological museum. The archaeological museum in Parikia is one of the few museums with original sculptures from the 6th and 5th centuries BC and not Roman copies. The weather was starting to get worse, so we got into the shelter of our car, drove around the whole island, going through each town while trying to find a place to have a coffee. Some of the larger goats were standing on their hind legs and eating out of the trees!

Woke up around 1 and went to get a breakfast gyro. The town was packed with drunk Aussies, many of whom kept trying to take a bite out of my breakfast. They all had "I'm a Straya ****" or "Sydney slut who *****" or "I love Aus cock/pussy" or other vulgarities written on their chest or stomach. Some of the clubs had opened at 11 am for Australia Day.I lounged about the hostel for a bit and tried to get my roommate to come out with me but he was pretty defeated from ...
