    ... for their animals dug deeper caves behind the animal shelters as their houses. Then there was an earthquake ... The captain's houses were destroyed. The caves however, with their arched rooms were safe. So now the architecture copies the curved roofs of caverns and rich people live in the caves or make them into luxury hotels ;)

    Our evening ended with another yummy dinner and New York comedian who enjoyed making fun of the audience. ...

    ... a few minutes we got used to it, and it was very fun! My donkey was not the smartest and actually at one point got kicked in the head by another donkey!!     ... their group and a really really drunk guy from another got up to do some solo routines. Though hilarious, the best part of the evening was catching a breathtaking sunset along the Caldera. Pinks, oranges, purples… beautiful! This was absolutely the highlight of the trip so far! It didn’t hurt that the wine had some medicinal effects on our sore calves.

    Back to Fira by cab (robbed again with a 15 Euro trip ...

    ... tits up. A little bit embarrassed but seemingly unhurt from the fall, i carefully make it back to my seat. It's then that I see the trail of blood from the big chunk missing from my toe. But a bit of dodgy first aid seems to plug that up for the time being. We have a hour stop for lunch where the crew prepares a beautiful spread of fresh greek foods, followed by more swimming.     Woke up and showered, then went up to the terrace for breakfast. Great view. Had eggs, brown bread, tomatoes, feta cheese and dried olives. Packed up and checked out of hotel, receptionist gave us Baclava. Walked to next hotel - about a 1km north. Nicer than last night. Set out to the Blue Mosque and the Topkapl Palace.
