      Nic started the day with a swim and told me that the water was warm, the rocky shoreline was sore on his feet and the wind on the way out was freezing. I decided not to be as brave. We check out a bar where the Dons brother worked for five years in the main centre of Fira, it sits right on the caldera, also make our acquaintances to his ex leading lady who still has a frock and do dads shop right opposite.       ... there's cafes, even streets, cars and a port at the other side of Santorini, things you'd never guess looking at the pictures. The buildings, cafes, churches, alleys, are magical.       ... you would struggle If you were not very mobile. You can take a cable car die 4EUR one way down the to the old port of Thira. Or a donkey ride for 5EUR. we took the cable car, we were lucky as the line was not very long. There are only 12 cable cars ( 6 and 6 ) and when the cruise ships disembark or embark the queue is crazy long!!!!!!!!
