... sight. There were heaps of tourists up there as there as quite a few cruise boats in, and each vantage point was crammed with people. Some were climbing out onto roof tops and standing on the edge of buildings with huge drops below them. It was the most ridiculous thing I've seen. Anyway, I walked around to various vantage points, took heaps of photos and ended up on a point where I think ...

Once all aboard we headed off to a winery for a Greek lunch and dancing. Lunch was great with some predictable Greek salads, but also some local foods such as a bean dish similar to humus that is grown & made locally and tomato fritters made from local tomatoes and of course local wine. ... everyone willing to stay outside, and relocated others to more sheltered eating areas. At one point the parchment paper our lamb was cooked in went flying when the waitress collected our plates. She ended up passing along the leftover morsels to a local dog who patiently waited at the restaurant entrance.

We downed the rest of our wine to evade the cold winds and made for the shops in which Jen struck gold so far as Christmas gifts ...

... once you have been here... you don’t really need to see the rest of the islands.

We caught a ferry from Santorini to the island of Ios. I liked to call it the Bali of Europe. Party zone, plenty of sun and a **** tonne of Australians everywhere. The 2 nights we spent here we just partied and sat by the pool.. There is only one place to stay ...
