    ... after our interesting arrival story. We both then had a massive sleep,, 10-12 hours. aahh, feel better.

    ... for breakfast and then we were on our way. Our boat wasn't anything grand but at least it didn't sink. Our first stop was Rinca Island where we did an 1.5 hour walk.     ... the rice paddies, being tended to despite the early hour (or maybe because of). It is probably the stereotypical image most people have of Bali (after the beaches) but we have had to come a long way to see it. The real Bali, the authentic Bali, is a world apart from this tranquil scene.
