So today was fairly relaxed. This morning I woke up at 5.30am, after finally thinking I had beaten jet lag. I stayed in bed until 8. ****, I tell you what, the construction outside was so loud this morning, whilst the light beaming into my room made it much more difficult to sleep. We had no set plans today. We wanted to go to the aquarium but Dad decided we should just go exploring.

We left our apartment on Carrer la Font and headed towards La Rambla via Carrer Nou de la Rambla. We went past the Palua Guell but decided to keep walking and soon arrived at La Rambla...it was packed with people.

We headed up the street and then went right towards the Cathedral. We went along amazing lane ways and arrived at the Cathdral but ...

... it was nice Manchego. We decided we really needed to do some laundry and our first venture found it closed. We then went looking for a second one and managed the washing and a lovely drink of pink lemonade and nice coffee for Craig. Spanish coffee is much better than French coffee.

In the evening we set out for a great passagata. Stopped in a bar for sangria and olives, anchovies etc. There was lots of general excitement because of the Germany versus Argentina ...
