... nights and we could finally lay eyes on all the famous Barcelona "street art." There are some real fine artists out there for sure! Another great day today for us. Billy commented on how it has been nice that we have had no real plans and have pretty much walked out the door and let time and hunger lead us. He said it's nice that we stumble upon things that we wouldn't otherwise have seen, had we been following a strict itinerary. Jenny and I both happen to think he is ...

So today was fairly relaxed. This morning I woke up at 5.30am, after finally thinking I had beaten jet lag. I stayed in bed until 8. ****, I tell you what, the construction outside was so loud this morning, whilst the light beaming into my room made it much more difficult to sleep. So I got off the plane no more than 14 hours ago, and already I've ****** up my sleeping pattern. The flight was good; I flew from Sydney at around 8.15pm, the plane got delayed for half an hour, which I thought may affect my transits. I met a man in the airport, he was going back home to Iraq, to see his family after 5 years of living as an accountant in Australia. We talked about Spain and Greece. I then boarded the plane and sat next to another man who was ...

... and a drink for about €5! We felt we could live a bit more like kings here, particularly after Paris. And I'm no backpacker (really - my bag straps even zip up to not look like a backpack, and it had wheels), so living like a king would suit my style. I'm wary that today's blog might be a bit on the short side because come this afternoon, all we did was the exact same as yesterday afternoon, and finding new and exciting ways to describe lazing ...

... it was a good idea to make reservations at the museums/sights we plan to take in. We booked our visit to the Picasso Museum at 10:00 this morning and it was a great thing we did. By the time we left the museum slightly after 11:00, there were easily 50-100 people in line to buy tickets and get in. Because the museum is very small, they limit the number of people inside at any given time. So, if you have to wait in line, you'll just have to wait for enough people to ...
