So today was fairly relaxed. This morning I woke up at 5.30am, after finally thinking I had beaten jet lag. I stayed in bed until 8. ****, I tell you what, the construction outside was so loud this morning, whilst the light beaming into my room made it much more difficult to sleep. So I got off the plane no more than 14 hours ago, and already I've ****** up my sleeping pattern. The flight was good; I flew from Sydney at around 8.15pm, the plane got delayed for half an hour, which I thought may affect my transits. I met a man in the airport, he was going back home to Iraq, to see his family after 5 years of living as an accountant in Australia. We talked about Spain and Greece. About 1pm we went back to the market (the rain had stopped and the sun was out) to buy our lunch of empanadas and fruit juice. There was dance in Placa de Sant Jaume, the XI Mostra d'Esbarts Dansaires Infantils I Juvenils which we watched whilst eating our breakfast before making our way down Carrer de Ferran to Placa Reial where the Seguici de Santa Eulalia was starting off for a parade around part of Barri Gotic.
