Day 2 in the Big Spanish Country... Bit chilly, time to pull out the hat and scarf. Central heating? no? ok. The sun was trying to trick me. So today we go with our first host families who we will stay with for a while as part of the program agreement. This street is a mall which has many fashion labels, tourist stalls, ...

... able to really get much sleep (mostly from excitement), economy comfort was a good choice of seating. Brandon woke up first and was able to capture the sunrise over the Atlantic with the camera. Unfortunately we were on the wrong side of the plane to see much of Paris, and it was extremely overcast so there wasn't a view.

Once into Paris, we had croissants and espresso and waited for our flight to Barcelona. The flight was delayed ...

... turned Barcelona literally around. Prior to this the locals thought that the closer to the water you lived the lower the class of people and accommodation , but after the Olympics this all changed with the same area now the place to live.

After leaving the green we took on the much larger red line which gave us a tremendous feel for the city both the old and the new. Like yesterday Gaudi and his buildings took pride of place but we had a windfall ...
