It didn't seem worth catching the bus down into the town or beach, so we had a relaxing rest of the morning and lunch.

... long before we were threading our way through the mess of motorway junctions, on the left and right(!!) around Barcelona. It was getting sunnier and warmer all the time and we were relieved to finally get to Vilanova i la Getru and the campsite at Vilanova Park. My favorite photo was of a goat tied to one of his goat sculptures. Next to donkeys, goats might be my favorite farm animal. As usual, photos were not allowed at the museum and there was ...

With our eyes recovering from tomato juice, we got up early and drove north towards Barcelona. Many road tolls later we arrived and given how big the city is we left the van at the airport and caught a surprising clean, cheap and efficient train all the way to our apartment just off La Rambla, the main tourist strip leading to the beach. We met ten other friends at the older style but large apartment in the perfect location to explore. We were lucky that the owner of ...
