    Today Carne and I jumped on a tour (with 2 other kiwis and 2 Aussies from the ANZAC tour). Our first stop was the ancient ruins of Perge. The ruins cover a huge area, and is in its 60th year of restoration, all off the sculptures uncovered to date are on display at the Antalya museum.

    ... the stone most alike human skin and that you want to touch it - even though it apparently damages the stone. I really really wanted to. It was creepy and so life like looking at a life size 3d statue staring at you in flesh coloured stone, like it was made yesterday.     ... dehydrated. Hour 5 and we were up in the mountains, sleet turning into snow flakes, and then almost completely white.
