9. I would love to see some other cities including Berne, Basel & Interlocken. I've heard great things about them from friends but it is very expensive to get there from Paris. I'll keep researching :)
... was going to be expensive, but I had no idea how expensive. Fish and Chips for 33 francs ( about $40) and everything else from burgers to pasta at least 23 francs. Finally I ended up at the grocery store, where I was able to buy a pasta salad, a giant soft pretzel, an iced tea and a Swiss chocolate bar, all for 7 francs!

Annecy is a very mixed town, full of apartments, offices and many other things. Many of the people did not speak English very well because it's a small town. The town is built on waterways and it backs up to the Alps. The atmosphere in the old town is superb as typically French food shops merge seamlessly with designer stores, souvenir shops and every kind of bar/restaurant imaginable.
