Since the 24th of January I'm doing nothing else but saying goodbye to my closest friends and family. At friday my best friend - Inez - throw me a goodbye-party at her home, where I had some chilling time with my dearest friends together with a few snacks and drinks. Amanda: I really enjoyed all of France. It was nice to have a guide for the bus and boat tours so we actually knew what we were seeing. The extravagance of Versailles is always amazing, and of course Vimy Ridge was incredible to see.

Mrs. L: The Vimy memorial. Seeing the Canadian flag, standing at the memorial, and walking in the trenches... amazing!

Mr. L: Touring the city of Paris and seeing all the phenomenal buildings.

Over the next five minutes, three older ladies also scrambled onto the train (each breathless and flustered), asking me, who was so confidently poised at the ...

... up purchasing a chicken salad sandwich on the dining car (I think for 4.90 pounds - expensive, but what can you do?) It was some kind of wheat bread and actual thin slices of real chicken (the kind that is carved) with a small amount of lettuce and tomato and a condiment that was most likely mayonnaise. Not a great sandwich but it was much better than our lunch, ironically. Of course the next day while on the train to the airport, I was skimming through ...
