Hour, so we settled for a Wok Restaurant opposite our hotel and very nice too
      but no alcohol.

The stamp on your passport counts as visiting a country as long as you leave the airport, eat a meal and use the restroom. Here is a glimpse of ...

Yesterday we were up early ready to go on our tour of Dubai and visit the gold and spice souks. We headed off and the temperature on our bus was 37 degrees at 8.30 in the morning. To give you an idea of what the temperature was like ,when we returned to our hotel at 2.30 the temperature was 47 degrees at the pool on the roof top of our hotel. We headed to the Dubai Museum, which is comparatively new,and we were given 30 minutes to check it out. One has to remember ...
