    ... were the string is. The airport at Dubai is massive we had to get a bus that took 10 minutes to get to our next plane, walk across the Tarmac in 40 degrees at 3pm Dubai time. The flight to Rome was 6 hours which Alex and slept for 3,max slept for 2. At Rome there was a man holding a sign with Eggins, they drive on the opposite side of the car and road to us.     ... that took 5 minutes or so. When I repacked my MacBook, which hadn't come through the metal detector when I had started the unpack had disappeared off the conveyor belt. The security guards asked around after it and weren't sure if someone had picked it up by mistake or it had been taken to lost property.

    ... It is not at all like Llansteffan. Big blocks of apartments and shops tower over the sand. I had a paddle in the sea. It was quite cold!
    We met Rajwah who is a friend of Owen's and went out for supper in an Italian restaurant near the sea. By 9 o'clock Oscar was fast asleep and we were all feeling tired so here we are ready for bed at 10 o'clock.
