          ... a problem. Lunch could be served at a table or on the beach; I had mine at a table, snapping photos of the beautiful Mediterranean as I sipped my crisp white wine.           Crossing into Italy, the first thing I saw was what looked like the abandoned town of Fanghetto on a small hilltop. Then along the highway was a local farmer's fruit truck.
