The Winds of Toulon
At some point overnight, the skies turned from clear with tons of stars to cloudy and rain. The weather change didn't really make for a rough seas, however. As we pulled into Toulon, France, I could see that the skies were clear on the western horizon, so there was hope that they would be clearing over the city and we’d have a nice day to explore Toulon.

... my revenge on France, rather on Carrefour, a store that's like Target, I set out to find their nail polish. Thanks to marissa I now go into stores and pretend like I'm browsing the nail polish but instead just paint my nails. Voila! Free nail polish. Well much to my chagrin all their nail polish bottles were in packages! I could not get to them.
One day Carrefour, I will get my revenge.

"weekend" is "weekend" in French
... again. So, i invited my French classmates. Only the swedes couldn't come, but the other three were able to make it! Needless to say, for an american holiday/tradition we were rather international. Around the dinner table we were representing: America, Thailand, Poland, Latvia, England and France. It was great! A night well spent.

OK place - bad time to go
We missed the summer lavender fields. If you really dig modern painting, Aix-en-Provence may hold some charm. Not a bad town, just nothing really spectacular.
