... a Sweedish cycling couple who told us that the canal ahead was closed. Sure enough checking in with the tourist information, they were doing work to repair the decaying banks. So we had to detour away from the canal in a few sections. Of course, that was when the canal was in the deepest of valleys and we needed to climb large hills, but we sorted it out and were back on track soon enough. I will perhaps always believe that they all thought of me as that weird Australian guy who didn't really speak to anyone and just sat that there pretending to laugh when we laughed. ... le guide était vraiment alléchante... L'île au moines, elle, est accessible. En fait il y a des navettes toutes les demi-heures depuis et vers Port Blanc. C'est d'aileurs indispensable pour les insulaires qui doivent gagner le contient. Une fois à destination, nous louons des vélos avec une petite charette et partons faire une petite balade. elle sera courte (une heure aller-retour) mais des plus agréable. Un autre détail remarquable : les pierres sont globalement plus hautes à une extémité du champ et vont en décroissant vers l'autre extrémité. Et bien voilà les préparatifs sont (presque) bouclés, j'ai bien reçu mon visa et j'ai établi mon itinéraire final Africain... je n'ai plus qu'à prendre mon avion jeudi 13/11/08 à 12h25 au départ de Roissy CDG pour Accra au Ghana... atterrissage à 21h35... donc 22h35 heure française. Il est temps de partir, retour prévu...?????
