... With only a day to explore this beautiful city some compromises were made. There is so much to see and do in Paris that it can be overwhelming. At trip to the top of The Tower and a river cruise with hop on hop off option to get around and visit some sites was the day’s plan.

Without sounding too clichéd, we have all seen the images of Paris and the Eiffel Tower, one could not imagine Paris without thinking of this iconic structure. However, to come ...

    Bonjour: French Classes Part II

A travel blog entry by vikkitor on Sep 02, 2014

Sooo… I kind of woke up a little late because of the little sleep I've been having, so I just took my time getting ready. I was 15 minutes late for French class, but it was okay because it’s only integration week (not like real school). Sebastien brought croissants today for the whole class which was super nice of ...

According to Wikipédia (the French version), "L'armistice de 1918, signé le 11 novembre 1918 à 5h 15, marque la fin des combars de la Premiére Guerre mondiale (1914-1918), la victoire des Alliés et la défffaite totale de l'Allemagne, mais il ne s'agit pas ...

Welcome to the City of Metz !

Metz the discreet ! This is how I would describe this City...

As opposed to its famous neighbour city Strasbourg, immediately recognizable through its black and white buildings, its Christmas Markets, gastronomy and traditions, the Capital of the Lorraine region is not featured much in the news or even in the documentaries highlighting the beautiful régions of France. And this is a shame really as ...
