    ... Picasso and Van Gogh. Today there are many restaurants and cafes, as well as quaint shops and area where artists sell their work.     The Louvre... I could have spent the entire day in this museum. It is by far the biggest museum I have ever seen. The Mona Lisa was beautiful. We also saw The Seated Scribe, Beeswax paintings from the Egyptian Era that were pretty outstanding, The Winged Victoria, and The Grande Odalisque, these were some of my favorites.

    ... Exposition but closed in 1939 as the platforms were too short - lucky for us as the building is gorgeous. First up was afternoon tea under the large clock - we thought we'd go a chocolate eclair and iced tea ...placed our order and Rebekah noticed the male waiters having a little laugh...then our order came out!! WOW - a foot long chocolate eclair...EACH!!! - delicious but needless to say we could not eat them all.

    ... The first thing that happens? We drive two feet in front of us and he stops abruptly to allow a woman to SLOWLY walk in front of us. Another five feet, he stops again. He takes several minutes to SLOWLY explain that each additional person is one euro. After about the fifth time of him saying that, I told him to "FECKING DRIVE!" as the meter continued to run (a cent a second... good...)
