Atalaya Morro del Jable

De tijd hier in Las Palmas gebruiken we om de motor zijn broodnodige onderhoud te laten geven en om de voorraden voor de oversteek naar de Carieb in te slaan.
En om de video beelden van Lanzarote te uploaden. Wat beelden uit het National Park en van het begin van de oversteek naar Las Palmas.

... we didn’t want to move. There were many alternatives given which would have inconvenienced everyone equally but it seems some people are unable to compromise on such issues and we were forced to move our stuff, which by the way was not to under our seats because those areas were too full for our backpacks and sleeping stuff but some people just don’t see the situation as an inconvenience to anyone else but themselves. I won´t be able to update this blog whilst at sea but we will have a boat blog on the arc website where you can also follow the boats progress on the tracker thing. We are hoping to beat pauls last record of 19 days...the shorter the better in my mind!

... and Tatiana have a lovely son who is now seven months old is called 'Ignacio Valentino' and of course he is just gorgeous!

Before we knew it Alain was due to fly home and we took him back to the airport for his flight back to Madrid and then on to Paris.

We spent another few days at the Sun Island Apartments and then flew home on the 19th

... to move from the Bungalows on the 4th November, so we moved nearer to the Marina to Sun Island apartments. At only 34 Euros a night we were well looked after, lovely air conditioned apartments with a balcony and super pools and facilities in the complex.

Again we took off and did our own thing. We drooled over the super yachts at Porto Calero - one was worth more than ...

The beaches here are considered to be the most beautiful on the island and it is from this spot here that one can take a jet foil over the neighboring island of Gran Canaria.

We want so much to get off the car and enjoy the beach here, but we move to the next stop promising ourselves to find a similar spot for swimming or return later in the afternoon.

... no bread. That was a good thing as I picked up some nice, fresh (still warm!) ciabatta. It was yummy - I ate way too much bread and way too much Nutella. Nutella tastes good with everything ... probably even served with giant Canarian roaches! Breakfast was a nice affair on the terrace - cheese, Serrano ham, grapes, juice ... a veritable feast! Wednesday 6th December to Sunday 10th December Well we are definitely up early today, and Tony offers to drive us to the airport which is fabulous considering we have to leave at 3.30am. Our flight doesn't leave until 7am, but because it is international we were advised by the travel agent to be there 2 ½ hours before, so after a very quick check in and baggage inspection we find a place to sit and have breaky.
