We have certainly noticed the difference in food prices here compared to Italy; a marguireta pizza is 19 Swiss francs compared to around 4 or 7 euro in Italy. Alpine hike

At various points in our trekking you could see signs to Italy, the Matterhorn is on the Perrine Alps that border both counties and in winter you can ski across nations, interesting idea to have to remember to pack your passport as you go skiing.
