... highway! At one point there was a bit of construction and we were amazed to
see a little neon figure of a policeman with a revolving arm that warned you to
slow down and move over a lane. We observed no tailgating, no horn honking
(never even heard horns in downtown Tokyo) and most people observing the speed
limit which is 80km/hr. Along the way we saw fields of rice growing – some of

First to breakfast - thankfully a buffet but a weird selection of fare. Helen opted for the Welsh breakfast - scrambled eggs and seaweed (lavabread) but the seaweed here is prepared differently - whole & lightly steamed. A few women at breakfast were wearing traditional Kimono. Our guide met us in the lobby & outlined the agenda for the day. Fortunately for us it's a lovely spring day today but the forecast for the rest of the week is bad - cold & rain. The ...

... on the inside. I also found M’s tower which is a seven story (almost famous) adult shop. Inside was almost every dirty thing you can imagine but I will leave you to think about such things in private.

Although I had a lot of fun combing through these stores and found lots of interesting goods I hadn’t found anything I needed or wanted. So I made my way back to the tail end of the main street and started coming my way up through all of ...
