The Torii gate I felt was better when the tide was out and you could get up close and personal with the building and appreciate just how big the pieces of timber were (giant tree trunks). ... that people observe in order to make it a possibility.  I could never ever imagine a Chicago without trash cans, people would simply litter 24/7! I was really impressed. After walking for a bit, we entered an Izakaiya (ee-za-KA-ee-ya); a bar with fried bar-type foods. We drank Sapporo and Bryan ordered a number of dishes including tiny fried shrimp with the legs and everything still on (Ebi Karage), delicious noodles of some sort, and my favorite, little octopi ...
