Spent the day in Bodega Bay, with Barb, Dave, Junie and Tina. Had some great bacon wrapped Ahi Tuna, Coconut Shrimp and Oysters at a little bar called Casino. For you trivia folks, Bodega Bay is where The Birds was filmed. Casino's is where the cast and crew would eat after shooting all day. We also at some Clam Chowder at "The Birds Cafe" on our way back home later. We drove to the hiking area and hiked up to the top of the cliffs ...

... We left the Noyo River Marina at 7:30AM and were tied up at the Spud Point Marina in Bodega... Harbor at 11:45PM. We entered the Harbor well after dark. It was very very dark.

The trip down was another long motor. The only excitement, and it was especially exciting for our buddy boat Sunshine, was the appearance of whales. These weren't just any whales. We believe they were blue whales. Blue whales are the largest of ...

... into the hills above. The guys also report noticing a trend.....numerous small cemeteries occupy ocean front / ocean view land along the Northern CA coast. If you want to be buried with an ocean view this seems to be the place to do that! It's actually becoming a daily running joke for Bill and Brian to see how far they can get before they spot the first cemetery.
