... I said Magic in the Moonlight in
English, meaning that I said it the way I would if I was in a theatre in Canada
and not with a French accent. I’m wondering if there are viewings of American
films in English as well… but good, I expected it to be in French since I’m in
a movie theatre in France. Back to the movie, I thought the story line would be

      theatres in France (or ...

NORWAY: Nothing to do...Why not travel?

... some quality was sacrificed. I spent the rest of the afternoon coordinating trip details with Hannah, talking with my mom, and watching Netflix. I wanted to venture out and experience Toulouse, but Jordi was too tired and me navigating such a big city on my own is dangerous. Plus, why start out the trip with extra strain on my budget. I got to my hotel and it's clean and comfortable, with a lovely firm bed, but I still ...

... lived a few kilometres from Pau. They are very dear friends of a family we know. After asking a couple of people we found the house and once we explained who we were the elderly couple welcomed us like long lost friends! Only the gentleman spoke English, but the lovely woman kept telling us things, which her husband then interpreted. They then fussed over us, bringing out the dishes for our lunch, which included fois gras, then a lentil casserole, then cheeses, followed by ...

      Train to Toulouse

A travel blog entry by anita.russ on Jul 24, 2014

We had to get to Gare D'Austerlitz this morning and I was very concerned that we had not left enough time to go by Metro so we elected to get a cab. The station was very orderly and there were not too many people milling about waiting for the train. Katie went and bought us some drinks and a few sweets for her which was quite expensive but we would need a drink on the 6 hour train journey.

The train was running on ...
