... took her drugs. We then decided to have our Christmas Day lunch picnic, which involved ham and cheese croissants, and a loaf of bread with pesto, cheese and left over sliced ham, with a few glasses of red. Colleen told me that the red wine would help her head. While Colleen was recovering from her migraine for the remainder of the afternoon, we just chilled in our room relaxing and having naps. It is much cheaper for winter stuff here. Really good quality and looks fantastic. We spent way too much. Later the day we caught the bus to Strasbourg to see the Christmas markets. We walked through a massive shopping centre to get to the markets. I had to pee so went into Meccas ...

Other than the charm of the christmas markets and cathedrals, Strasbourg was a great escape from Freiburg (satisfied all our seafood cravings)! Will we come back again? Most probably, but we'd make a beeline for the supermarket just to lug home a luggage full of fresh seafood which Freiburg clearly lacks. ...
