    ... final stretch. My trusty GPS told us we were nearing Pompeii/Naples, 30km to go but then it told us that the 30km would take us 2 hours!!! I thought it must have been broken, but sure enough just under 2 hours later we rolled into Pompeii and into our campsite for the evening. We pitched our tent and went in search of some food. Supplies bought at the supermarket I cooked up a storm and we settled in for a much-needed catch up sleep!
