Well, we survived our first day of 14 rainy hours on the road, and by 7:30pm, or 8:30 midwest time, we arrived at our campground on Lake Michigan in Indiana. With to-go soup from panera bread, we speed-set-up the tent, inflated the mattress, built a fire, and ate, all before sunset. It's a chilly 50-something degrees... We can see our breath. ...

We head out for Rochester tomorrow. Catch ya later!

Now let's just cross our fingers and pray that my visa finally makes its way back to me... I finally got ahold of a person at the embassy (no small feat) and was told that my passport and visa were on their way back at the end of last week. I'll believe that when I see it! ...

    Visiting Northwestern

A travel blog entry by bunsy on May 11, 2006

Today was the big day, visiting Northwestern... wow, I was nervous this morning lol I really didn't know what to expect... would the profs be nice and friendly, or very formal? Would they say "Hi!!" and then offer information or just kindve stand there expecting me to the all the talking, with a "I only have a few min" feel? I mean, this is after all one of the top universities in the States, and pretty much #1 in Art History... I ...
