We were far too tired last night to make any attempt at blogging and podcasting. So here I am at 6.50am ready to give you a glimpse of yesterday. Yesterday was a bit of an emotional roller coaster - mind you, that means nothing really given that I've cried every day we've been here! It's all too wonderful. So up early, Taylor and I off to Century 21 discount fashion department store. We had to take the Subway - Metro. You have to pay by Metrocard to use the subway. The store had a lot of great fines. Then we went back to the hotel to pick up Mike and off to MoMA - Museum of Modern Art. Mike waited for us to go through. Taylor treated me for the admission which was very nice. It was very good.

He created the simple white on black words and the different colored circles with letters for the different routes. That's modern art I can get behind. ...

... and two guys on stilts danced behind them. They started moving and I followed them down the street a ways hoping that the band would play. It was all brass and made up of students of all ages. The smallest kids looked tinier than our 6th graders! They continued down the block a ways more when I heard them start playing. I wish I could have known where they were from. It was definitely pulling at my band director heart strings! I ...
