... I woke at 6:30, energised as always after not many hours of sleep, which seemed to be my habit in New York, and went out to the lounge so as not to wake Bon. ... the rest of the day so we wrapped up and headed out. First stop Grand Central! Before we arrived at Grand Central we decided to check out the shop fronts along fifth avenue as we had heard they were impressive. Which they were! Tiffany, Gucci all the designer stores had Christmassy shop fronts, we had a look in a few but obviously got stared at in walking boots and a bright red jacket compared to the fur and Prada bags worn by most others. The second movie in NYC at Times Square, opposite to Regal- where I saw my first movie. A good invitation by Paritosh, finally had the chance and the company to use the discounted ticket I bought from Deloitte market place. Went to see the movie - Interstellar. A very impressive movie, but I don't know if it's only me - but I have to usual see Nolan movies 2/3 times to comprehend the concept��. ...

... Times Square taking the Downtown tour. We passed the Chrysler Centre which was the tallest building in the world for six months before it was trumped by another building in Manhattan and, no it wasn't by the Trump Tower as Donald Trump wasn't around in those days.
