I have some reservations about Tavistock being twinned with Celle. About 12 miles up the road from the city is the site of Bergen-Belsen, one of the Nazi's most notorious concentration camps.
How on earth could the town's inhabitants not know what was on their doorstep?

... breakfast and final packing out of the way, we bundle up, drop the keys in the slot and make our way to the station. I've set aside a half hour to make the 10 minute walk and we arrive about 7:20am. We head to platform 14 for the half hour wait for our train. What a glorious morning we awoke to in Schwulper. Blue sky, and brilliant sunshine - apparently an extraordinary November day!
