When we awoke the ship was headed through the picturesque fjord to the industrial city of Kristiansand. The weather was perfect. We were in port all day but we had a short excursion of the area with a focus on history of Norway and the local area called "Scenic Drive to Hollen and Open Air Museum". We woke up this morning to find ourselves docked in Kristiansund, our last port of call before returning to Liverpool. At some point during the night we’d crossed south of the Arctic Circle once again, so we would gain back even more daylight and our chance of seeing the Northern Lights one more time had diminished a lot. Nevertheless this was a new port for us, so we were looking forward to the excursion we’d ...

... etc. By the way Valldal is the center in Norway where they grow most of the local strawberries, so we bought some of the berries along the road from a small stall and they were really delicious. Very tasteful, not watery like you most often find them in Belgium, but deep red and very tasteful.

After that we drove on to Molde including one short ferry to get there, where we have our airbnb room just outside ...
