Today was warm and sunny, 27C. We decided to take a tour of Melbourne on their Visitor Shuttle It's a great deal at $5.00 per person but rather slow and their posted schedule seemed to evaporate as the day progressed.
It's a great city, well laid out with a myriad of facilities for all interests and pursuits. The entertainment district consisted of several ...
... holes and the challenge of squeezing myself into the smallest spaces possible! I'm sure this stems back to my childhood being left with the "box room" of the house - thanks Mum and Dad! Day 1 First day went really well! I started at 11.30 after a nice long lie in. I caught the shuttle bus into the centre and took a leisurely walk to Brunswick street where I'd be working to get my bearings. We're aware that makes us sound like we know what ...
... Senorita, senorita, your drinks" as he passed us watermelon granitas across the counter (rather than delivering them to our table). Just as we'd sat down with our bread and drinks we heard "Canneloni - who's got the two canneloni?" and then "The ravioli? Ravioli napoletana?" and again we had to jump up and grab it from them. We couldn't believe how fast it all was, and how many people they managed to serve in such a short amount of time.
After our delicious dinner ...
