... the family before realising that we were about to leave Melbourne without having been in the sea. So we grabbed our cozzies and ran down to the sea oir an after dinner dip - which was actually much warmer than expected! To cap off the evening perfectly we were once again treated to a stunning sunset across the bay with the sky lit up in fabulous colours - an amazing way to end our time in Aus!
End of Part 1 ....

... tape and mythical little creatures perched on your shoulders, advising you to cut, run and never look back. It also tends to be accompanied by a raw, desperate vulnerability which you just know will lead to someone's soul splintering in half oooooh a few short, awkward moments from now.

Seems hard to believe that the last 4 weeks have passed us by and we are now back in Australia. Looking forward to a sleep in my own bed, except I will have to make it when I get out tomorrow!
We have had an amazing time trekking around the USA. We managed to catch our planes, trains and shuttles on time and we only had one major flight delay so that was pretty good really.
We did wonder if we were going to catch our flight ...
We flew back to Melbourne this morning, took the bus downtown to our hotel. We have a great apartment but it is located next door to the Plant Room and its like being in the bowels of a ship near the engine room but without the motion. Paula said it is quieter than the Indian Pacific and we don't have the yahoos racing ...
... For all those who are wondering, its 5°c here and I can't feel my toes at the moment). The beach was pretty foggy so you couldn't see too much but I hope that changes as the week goes on. All the streets are lined with bars and cafe's but most importantly, there is s McDonald's 50 yards from the hostel! We checked out the local Coles (Tesco) where I bought bread and Aioli. It looks like ...
