    ... the hotel said it was just 500 meters but we off course took the wrong street and it ended up being 1km! Haha. Beer is all we could think about!
    we Check into the hotel have showers and meet Missy, David, Heather and Shar.
    we eat at a restauranr La Rosa dei Venti which was recommended to us by Guiseppe at the hotel.
    11 for dinner which was a feast and it cost €196.

    ... we spent too much time moving and not enough time enjoying.. Sandy described it well, moving every 2-3 days is for tourists, we are travellers.

    The time in the Loire valley was fabulous and we enjoyed having Marvin and Linda join us. The house was great and the hospitality amazing...even including a ride in their Daimler.

    Day 24 Today we pick up our bikes, have our pre tour briefing and the introductory dinner. I wandered down to breakfast at 9am and found Bill and Joan in the dinning room.     ... and we were treated to pasta fritta and some more delicious red wine while 20 of her friends chatted to us in pretty impressive English. We woke up the following day with a slightly sore head and were treated to an amazing tour of Florence including all its beautiful piazzas, then up to get a cityscape on one of the hills, then home via some delicious gelato and a relaxing snooze in the park.
