... We spent the entire morning here studying and sketching the building. After lunch, we saw the Monumento ai Caduti which is a futurist style building and is right by the lake. The final building that we saw was Palazzo Novocomum which is a housing building. The rest of the afternoon was planned to be free but Marina said that the program would cover the lift fee to get to the top of the mountain that overlooks the ...

Finding no parking, we put the car in the turnaround at the top - ah, the benefits of coming in January with no one there! The statues and paintings were amazingly detailed. Since the first day we arrived we had been noticing a small church across the ...
... too much and tired due to our disruption last night. Planned to drive over the Alps into Italy only to find the road was closed, feeling very jealous of the people out skiing and snowboarding around us. Backtracked slightly to get back on the highway to take us into Italy, taking us up and over the Alps with spectacular views. Parked up near a castle overlooking a lake after loosing alot of height, no snow in sight only a backdrop of snowy peaks from the Alps.
