... the way Jerry spotted an open restaurant that had a special lunch of pasta scampi, white fish and a piece of pan seared calamari (no breading) We stopped and had the special of the day, what a treat! Great meal amongst many locals!
Content with our meal and ready to burn off some calories, we headed back to our B&B. We both thought this was a very memorable day and one we thoroughly enjoyed!

Once settled in, we set out for a tour of the town. Ravenna is well known for very old churches dating back to the 4th century. The churches are well known for the ornate and large scale mosaics. In the evening we got a bit lost looking for somewhere to eat and wandered a bit aimlessly. This is always a little frustrating however, as is often the case ...
... for fishing is for netting small fish, either sardines or something a little bigger. Kerry said it looked like a bait fish. On our bike rides we saw deserted roads, houses, beaches with hundreds of umbrellas, camping grounds that were empty and all being packed up. It was all a bit eire. That was on our first ride. On our second ride we came across a large lake that stretched further than our eyes could see. ...
... which is near the coast and went to check out the beach. For miles there are perfect rows of beach chairs all belonging to different clubs that you have to rent to lie on the beach. They seemed to stretch forever. It was very strange to see as we dont have that in NZ and a bit eerie as it was the evening and the beach was nearly empty! After a quick look it was back to the hostel for an early night as we had been up since 5am on the ...
