... spot for some pasta and wine, and then walked back to the port. After a short rest, we changed and met in the Sky Bar for sailaway from Genoa. It was a nice way to watch us leave port. After sailaway, it was time for dinner. It was steak night for me in the Grand Cuvee. Very good food so far! I went to the casino after dinner just to watch the others gamble, not my thing really, then off to bed.

It was hard to say goodbye to the Cinque Terre and my lovely little hotel by the sea, but it had to be done. Genoa was waiting. As soon as I stepped out of the Brignole Centrale Train Station, I knew it was going to be a beautiful place to spend the next 24 hours. The door led to an empty hallway inside an old building, which led to a small glass box/elevator thing. I got inside and waited with the others inside.
