    ... realised we weren't on the right path at all, we
    weren’t even in the right valley. Not to worry, we re-planned the route and
    carried on. The walk took us towards the town of Terlago and the Lago di
    Terlago before heading round Monte Mezzana and climbing back up to the village
    of Covelo and on the village of Monte Terlago where our campsite is. The walk
    was lovely, past vineyards and apple orchards.

    area is famous for making hob nails (for hob nail boots) and the task was
    considered so important that even under German occupation during the second
    world war, production was ordered to continue with each worker being expected
    to make 800 per day.

    ... and lots of traffic were totally ignored once I flicked the lever to Manual and used the paddle shifters to encourage to horses to get their act together! The next minutes flew past so damn quickly as I was told to "use the gas" by my guide and gave the beast some stick! For a rev head like me, it was total bliss listening to the screaming V8 and using the instantaneous shifters to up and down the 7 speeds!
