    ... fail - and then was called by Julia (who changed her mind as it was too cold and didn't end up doing to rafting) who said the group was leaving! OOPS! I quickly grabbed to top half of my wetsuit and ran outside. I threw it on. Davide came over wearing his suit and also a life vest and helmet. I went and took a helmet while he grabbed me a vest. We then got into a van (with wet seats - so gross when I sat in it! YUCK) that took us to the river! :)

    For two seconds we discussed the merits of driving an extra 2 hours today. The wriggly road won the day so we left Lausanne about 9am and drove past Montreaux and Brig to climb the Furka Pass.
