    ... I think we learnt just as much about life in Saudi as we did about French cooking! Fortunately we all got on extremely well and worked well together throughout the week.     Woke to gentle rain. Jane had decided the evening before that because of the predicted rain she would be staying in condom and the following day catch a taxi to Eauze..so after the usual skimpy breakfast the three of us set off for a slowish stroll in the rain to Montreal...     ... the first to be seen since Paris. Lovely , .lovely cathedral. Had a drink in the square and chatted with other pilgrims...nice...from near and far some leaving to go home..... their journey over...only hoping to return next year to take up where they had finished today...
