... will be fun. It's sprinkling out and cloudy, so unfortunately we won't be outside for the BBQ, but it should be fun. The other problem is that most of the students are feeling the pressure of work. They have a paper that is coming due in a couple weeks (the undergrads do) as well as a book that we all have due in a few weeks. Most claim they will sit at their desks and work. We'll see.

... by car and then onto Genoa by car. I saw a lot more of the city this time as the previous time was on foot. We then went to the port and checked out the new Sea museum. It was tastefully done and had a cool segment by Renzo Piano on how to improve the city with a new city plan.

... dem er mir eine gute Werkstatt empfahl und mich dort hin lotste. Die Wartezeit an diesem Tag verbrachte ich damit, ihn zu seinem Fotografen nach Boccadasse zu begleiten. Dadurch habe ich Genua von seiner gemütliche Seite kennen gelernt: in Boccadasse fühlt man sich wie in einem der Orte der Cinque Terre.

... appreciate it and like it. I will also enjoy the creativity of making a book. Lunch consisted of a shrimp pasta- shrimp, arugula wilted in the pasta, pasta- fusilli i think- milk, S+P, parsley and saffron. I was told it was a white sauce on the pasta, but it wasn't like an American white sauce, and she never mentioned cheese- just milk. It was more like pasta with a light flavor on it. And shrimp. Very good and light. I wonder if I can ...

What an Experience!

... wasn't right. When we got to orientation we arrived at this beautiful theater. Right before the first speaker I went to the bathroom and ended up getting sick. Our speakers talked to us about safety and our experience here. They warned us about pick pocketers and such. Not gonna lie they kinda scared me a little bit. I didn't even make it long before I got sick again. So during our break I went back to our apartment and crashed for the rest of the day! That night again ...
