    ... at the top of a house settlement which was only surrounded by sky, so I knew id hit the limit. The views were absolutely indescribable, so intense and full of colours and depths which my eyes couldn't quite comprehend. These are moments I'll savour forever! The photo's dont do it justice!     5.15 a.m on holiday! Julian gets up to make coffee............the rest of us finally stagger to the car around 6.45 for the drive to rendezvous with our whale watching trip........this had been cancelled and rearranged due to rough seas making our trip further away and much too early....hey ho!     ... some of the largest boats you could ever see - some over 50 meters long. Of course there are more restaurants and shops to lure you in with fantastic smells of coffee, pizza & pasta as you wander by.

    The advertising material said you could spend a week in Genoa and its surrounds and still not see everything. We can vouch for that.

    Genoa is one place we would be happy to come back and visit ...
