... We reviewed which tours we want to do, attended the emergency drill, went to the day spa to book our massages and then went to dinner.
At dinner we met 2 of our dinner companions Vivian and Rensia. Vivian turns 70 years in January and Rensia is in her late 60s. They have 2 daughters 39yrs and 41yrs...no grandchildren yet but they hope their youngest will have a child. Vivian said he doesn't believe they will have grandchildren. ...

... wine tasting. The vineyard itself was beautiful and it was cool and interesting to learn how they make the wine and see where its all made, which is underground! After the tour we got to taste a white, rose and red again. For each, they had a variation that was aged in an oak barrel so the wine tasted woody which was very interesting and not something I've ever heard of or tried!!

... it is 2pm and we stop at the first food shop we come too - a small doner kebap shop and order two large kebabs - the owner seems to take pity on us and gives us a small serve of fries for free! We take them down to a nearby plaza and sit on the end of a large fountain to eat. By this time the grey skies have cleared to a warm, sunny day. We walk down to the harbour to check the times for boat trips to the Cinque Terra villages and Portofino which we ...
