      ... it. After that we decided to go back to the hostel.

      That evening we decided to go to our first 'Chinese' club, which pretty much beats clubs back home. The club included dice games on the tables,massive handles of whisky and live performances. The only thing that seemed off-putting was that we were pretty much the only westerners there and it felt like a freak show with people watching us.

At most coffee shops/ bars here in China they play almost entirely if not all their music in English. They also only play one playlist over and over again and it is all music that was popular several years before.
