... Once I'd done that a we took our pictures I went in search to find the coordinates of 0'00'00. We found it!! Yay!!  Just 117 meters south of the original monument they're building a new one, as the equator has actually shifted over time. It was still being build but they kindly let us through. No health and safety here!!  A few more pictures and a certificate later we headed to the gift shop. Well, it would be rude not too. It was a good thing we did ...

We took the TransJakarta but to the historical heart of Kota and went to what we thought was the Bank Indonesia museum; turns out it was Bank Mandiri museum. The interior, funiture and decor have been left as it was since its construction in the 18th Century. We searched for leftovers down in the basement safes but all we found was an eerie silence as we were the only 2 there.

We Followed this by a trip to where we were meant to be which was the museum next ...

... in an airport again! This time we could book a flight online for Yogyakarta. The ticket was cheap and the hour convenient (12h30) so we are now waiting to board.

So far Indonesia has delivered more in the test-your-patience area than the oh-my-gosh-this-is amazing area but we stay calm and keep smiling, because there is no point in getting depressed about it. Better days are to come and I think it is important to see that too. Let’s see what the west has to ...
