Christen im Gegensatz zu Südsulawesi wo die Muslemen leben. Da
dieses Wochenende noch Ostern war, war die Präsenz von Kreuzen am
Strassenrand enorm. Alle 2m stand eines und wurden am Abend noch mit
kleinen Lämpchen beleuchtet, wie bei uns an Weihnachten. Es war ein
fantastisches Schauspiel. Auch Kirchen gibt es wie Sand am mehr. ...

Went shopping and decided to cook a good old spaghetti bolognese for me and the staff at the hostel. Had a look at Fort Rotterdam, but there's nothing special to see really. While strolling through the Fort I bumped into this English class which was held outside by this old Muslim guy called Lala. He asked me if one of his pupils could take me around on his motorbike to see the freight harbour and practise a little English with him - so off we went... :)

... was up to so we told him to get lost and he got a bit aggressive and was trying to intimidate us. Luckily all the locals on the train were on our side and helping us out and eventually he got off the train.
Anyway we got to Surabaya and jumped in to a taxi to the airport. We didn't see much of Surabaya but what we did see was traffic and lots of it. We couldn't make up our minds where to spend the next 10 days in Bali, Kalimantan or Sulawesi. The number ...
