Hippies was the only answer I could provide, just hippies lads. Much to my surprise the entire Hippy troupe decamped to my guest house and held their own prayer meeting come meditation ceremony on the roof while I was busy teaching Nick and Amelie the finer points of ********. ... room, relief! We let the driver go and after a quick freshen up and some directions from Raj, we were on our way to the Laxman Jula area of a Rishikesh. With Raj's directions we eventually got back to the mighty Ganges river and crossed on a footbridge, which also catered to scooters and motorbikes!! ... cows and family photographs on the bridge were in. The place is really chilled out and has a wooden facade complete with tree stump chairs and cast off wooden tables in odd shapes and sizes. The view from the back of the restaurant of the Ganges is amazing and as the sun goes down is casts an orange glow on the river. I chomp down on a surprisingly good Tuna Nicoise and rest my weary bones. Later on we head to a snug at the front of the restaurant with our rowers and feast ...
