ANZAC day
... with young and old sleeping out under the ''million-star'' accommodation in preparation for the commemorative Dawn Service which starts at 05:30. At 05h00 most people were sound asleep after a chilly, dew-covered night when the stillness was broken by a shrill cry of grief from a Maori woman. She was singing for the men whose lives were lost at Gallipoli and for the families who were left behind.

ANZAC's - Lest We Forget
... were the waves of Allies (mostly Australian’s) were sent to their deaths from the trenches, ordered by an Australian captian. Only 8m apart in some points, a machine gun shot down wave upon wave of Allies in a matter of 30 seconds.
