    ... up Tuesday morning quite early and made our way to the train station to catch our train to Madrid! We were very lucky because we didn't have to switch trains at all, and got a nine hour train directly from Barcelona to Madrid! We stepped off the train and soon realized how massive Madrid truly was! After almost twenty minutes riding across the huge city on the metro, we stepped off and found our hostel!     ... decided to walk up to the Parque del Buen Retiro to see more of it. We found the park full of throngs of people walking, rowing on the lake, and sitting. There were people selling all kinds of stuff laid out on cloths on the ground, stalls selling a Spanish staple, home-made potato chips ... It's hard to describe ...
