... hollow in the middle, a great place for playing hide and seek. We park on a track opposite to enjoy the last of the sunshine and dry some washing. A little way along the road a farmer is busy on his tractor ploughing a field, as the sun sets we moved to the car park, washing dry and Dream Catcher lovely and warm from the sun.
Oh! Also today we are one third of the way through our year of travelling, on budget, still in love and comfortable in Dream ...

There has been a very large tomb discovered near Amphipolis. Archaeologist date it to the time of Alexander the Great and think it might be his tomb but no evidence has been discovered yet to confirm the claim.

... We jumped from a pontoon. At first I was a little scared, but then I got used to it. We ate hotdogs for lunch. Then we all played cricket on the beach. We also had a big BBQ at night.
One day Lambos and I went with a friend Alecko to look for Mussels on a beach. We had to walk through rocks to find the mussels. It was fun. They cooked the Mussels for dinner that night.
I can't wait to go back to Thessaloniki to see our friends again.

      Meteora to Kavala

A travel blog entry by biancamack on May 31, 2013

Boiled egg sammies and Greek yoghurt for brekky, not too bad. A five hour drive to Kavala today. Not many good service stops along the way so both stops were pretty average. Our first real squat toilets at the first stop - luckily I had experienced them in Japan but some of the other girls were not too impressed with them. Arrived in Kavala about 2pm and checked into the hotel. Another pretty reasonable hotel and ...
