    ... met in the lobby for a short walking tour around the city. It actually looked a bit **** at first but as we walked around it got much nicer.     ... up the hill. Had some good views of the city - about 60,000 live here. Checked out the old aqueduct on the way back down the hill. Lots and lots of manky looking cats around here this place as well. Stopped at a yummy cake shop and got 2 wee ice creams and 2 pieces of chocolate cake for 3€!     We finally arrived in Greece after a 14 hour straight drive from Sarajevo (minus the half hour stop at a gas station in Serbia – where we learned from a local kid how to really spend your day having fun). What we observed from our 500 metre exclusion zone was the monks don't seem to be living a life of austerity, with modern vehicles and speed boats in the bays. They live in very large regular style houses as well as the larger monasteries. Some 2000 males currently live on the peninsula, including Monks and employees.
