Asperion Guildford

My business trips take me to Woking, England and as such there are limited hotel availabilities there.

The Asperion Hotel in Guildford offers a viable solution and certainly the best hotel I've stayed at in England.

My basic needs for any hotel are a) a clean room, b) comfortable bed, c) great shower, d) healthy breakfast and d) internet connectability.

The Asperion specalises in that. They keep it minimalistic and focus on these key points.

Breakfast was an unexpected highlight. It's organic and you can have any kind of cooked breakfast you need cooked up freshly for you.

I did not know what to expect, but this is by far the most pleasant, clean, and friendly hotel Ii have been to since a long time! Keep going!

This was the last stop on a ten day tour of England for my husband and me. It was a welcome change in atmosphere from the typical( but also charming) bed and breakfast in which we were used to staying. The hotel lobby and room were modern, and the decor soothing to the eye. The staff were so kind and gracious. The food was fresh, healthy, and delicious. The coffee, tea, and chocolate are fair trade brands.

It was easy to get to the High street on foot- about fifteen minutes. Wish I had more time there!

My wife and I spent two nights over the weekend at the Asperion and we found the earlier positive reviews to be true. It is by any standards a brilliant boutique hotel well worth its salt.

The Asperion is strikingly clean and airy and the rooms tastefully decorated also equipped with modern accessories that blend in well with the theme. The beds are talking points in themselves - very comfortable. The complimentary broadband access worked without a hitch. The breakfast was well prepared and presented on both occasions that we had it.

Possibly the greatest selling point of this hotel is the friendly staff who somehow manage to cater for specific needs and requests and have the time for a friendly chat. They crown what is already a special establishment and have influenced our resolve to return sometime in the future. Well done!

When you step in to the bedrooms of the Asperion you can immediately tell that this is a special place. I was still noticing the thoughtful touches after 4 nights. Modern, spotlessly clean, superbly equipped and friendly. Why is there not an Asperion in every town?

Free 2Mb Broadband, power shower, and a DVD player - this would be very tempting on its own, but when you add the Fairtrade/organic theme this is just about the perfect 'travellers rest' when away from home.

This Hotel/Guest House is excellent.

The rooms are gorgeous, decorated beautifully and to a very high standard. The beds are the most comfortable ever, from the mattress to the pillows and duvet. I have taken a look under the covers to see the make so that I can get my own for home. The rooms include flat screen TVs (some have DVD players)aswell as good broadband connectivity.

The bathroom is luxurious with a lovely shower, and top quality fittings. The organic breakfast is cooked to personal request, carefully presented and to a high standard. The staff are also exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel is ideal. Easy parking onsite, and genuinely within walking distance of the town (lovely shops and restaurants!), train station and theatres.

I have been staying at this hotel for a night or two each week, on business, for the past six months. I always look forward to going there, and will continue to use it for as long as I need to be in Guildford, and beyond.

Only after staying at Asperion does one understand why it has such good reviews. I have done a lot of travelling as a consutlant and stayed in umpteen hotels around the country. While most of them are just places to sleep, Asperion is for sure a delight. It has the perfect balance of being contemporary and comfortable.

The rooms are very well equipped (with a DVD player, flat screen TV, mini bar, electronic safe) and furnished. The detail to cleanliness is impeccable. On top of that the staff is very friend and provide great service.

If you want to stay in luxury for a reasonable price, this is the only hotel I would recommend.

I stayed at the Asperion Hotel in December and WOW! There were constant pleasant surprises. As soon as I entered the room I felt I was transported to a very modern chic boutique hotel somewhere in New York, Milan or Barcelona. The room was absolutely excellent from the egyptian cotton sheets to the high quality fluffy towels, to the high spec. fittings.

I had just flown in from New York and had a bad jet lag and thought as usual I would be in a mess trying to sleep on a hotel bed. I was absoluelty so wrong, I had the most comfortable sleep ever. The bed was better than what we have at home, and trust me we have a top quality bed.

I woke up to a power shower that lasted 20 minutes, I just could not seem to get myself out of the shower. I then went and had an "Organic" breakfast which I thoroughly appreciated.

All in all, It was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had, and I travel extensively so I have had a few. I can go on and on, The Asperion seems to have thought of it all, I will most defimetly be back and stay there.

Without question the best hotel in town. Service was superb, rooms were extremely comfortable. Stayed here for a week in the month of December and loved every minute of my stay here. Keep up the good work!

The Asperion hotel in Guildford is simply the best hotel in Guildford. The decor is modern and clean. The showers in the bathroom are a joy to behold. I've been late for appointments more than once because I've lingered in the shower for too long. Theres broadband in all the rooms as well as flatscreens. Some rooms have DVD players.

All the food at breakfast is Organic.

Its a short walk from the town Centre, a short walk from the train station and is on the main road in or out of Guildford if your in the car. If you do need to stay in Guildford there is no need to consider any other hotel until they bring themselves up to the Asperion's standard. I stay in Guildford a lot and have stayed in a lot of hotels there, so I'm well placed to tell you not to bother with anywhere else.
