Dies** ort lebt zwar auch ausschliesslich von touristen, hat ab** im gegensatz zu spokane reichlich scharm und ist schlicht einzigartig in nordam**ika. Wegen d** wirtschaftlichen krise in den 60** jahren, haben sich die bewohn** von leavenworth entschieden ...

... far we have travelled 2700 miles or 4320 km. Annie’s sister will be married on August 1 and so there is great excitement here in anticipation for that event. We will continue this blog after the wedding when we head out for California and the South west.

Cashmere home of the druggies and alcoholics. It's a small town where everyone, and I mean everyone, knew your business. Lived there for 10 years and I still don't miss that place. Maybe family, but I hardly talk to my old friends there. They are busy living their life.

In this town it was here where I watch Tim (the gaint) throw my worthless and unfortunately my father off our porch in order for my mom, brothers, and myself to leave.

... in the park; sad to say, Keith and Lori must head north to the Okanogon. We head east enjoying the drive through orc******** an incredible 4-lane highway towards Spokan.

We drive past Spokan and Coeur d'Alene in hopes of finding a lake to Camp by for the night.

Our map shows no lakes but 11 miles north of Sandpoint Idaho there lies Lake Cocollala; a quiet,clean,warm fishing lake acompanied by a free campground. After 30+ degree temperatures the swim is fabulous.

... picked me up, to avoid walking the same terrain back, and we bought more seafood in town to grill for dinner. We were hopeful the bear might make another appearance, but it was not to be. However, we did get a visit from a doe. Made to back to bed by 11:00 for another long day--so many hours of daylight!

Chris was up bright and early at 5:30, and I followed suit a half hour later. Breakfast was brought over at 9:30--yogurt, smoothies, fruit, scrambled eggs and pico. ... all I was urged not to go to my campsite now, but rather to head to the city of Leavenworth. Leaven worth turned out to be an adult paradise and I could easily have spent some days there. The entire city is Bavarian styled. I could swear I was walking around in Germany or Austria. Front Street was littered with tasting rooms so I took a walk.
